Club Change starts and escorts you on the path to honoring your best self! New Clubs start quarterly and meet weekly for six weeks. Each club helps you bring future intentions (your wants/desires/dreams) lovingly into your present practices or habits.
These one-hour classes guide you through journaling, breathing and envisioning exercises to help you find clarity and focus on your intention. Intention setting is the first step in every Club. The clubs set intentions for a certain period of time, but you might be doing your intention and practice for the year, for the day, or for whatever period you choose. Enjoy identifying some clarity, kindness and focus for whatever time period you choose. The first session "Sets" your Intention, the next five, should you choose, help you "practice" your intention until it becomes not change at all!
These one-hour yoga classes are the ideal space to connect with your breath and noticing your thoughts about your movements. Yoga is about bringing mind, body, and spirit together through breath and movement. Club Change is about connecting with your intentions and living in choice. This easy guided practice is designed to give you space to slow down, focus on your breath, and be with your body and and breath> Give yourself this gift! All levels welcomed. It is a gentle class. Join for one or all.
Chanting provides a magical gateway to silence and meditation. Sound and vibrations cleanse. When you chant you are giving and receiving your own sound healing therapy. We simply chant and then sit in the silence in between chants. The chants are guided by Jill, in English or Sanskrit, and might include a simple repetitive tune. The “space” in between the chants is more magical than the chant itself. Live chants are offered throughout the week and many are complimentary.

Jill has been on a lifelong journey as a “student of change.” Her first job in the recreation industry was teaching aerobic dance and swimming and then directing the department at the YWCA in Madison, Wisconsin, which was followed by teaching kayaking and skiing in the Alps . Completing her MBA at USF brought a fun, decades-long run in high-tech publishing, creating and managing many brands in the Bay Area and New York. After 9/11 and a transformative week-long stay at Rancho La Puerta in 2002, she discovered the importance of mindful practice in making choices for her life. Creating easily identified tasks to ensure desired changes and outcomes started with annual retreats with her family and evolved into an 8-step process for and with friends. The effectiveness of the program became clearly evident with zoom sessions during the pandemic. This success spurred her on to launch Club Change, where participants support each another in making the necessary choices to enhance their bodies, minds, spirits, and communities. When Jill is not leading Club Change Zoom events, she guides guests at Rancho La Puerta through the docent program and teaches chant, swimming, hiking pole use, and intention setting and practicing.
